क्या हुआ

• USD/INR near 94.73
• The US 10-year Treasury yield fell 4 basis points to 4.92% (Bloomberg report, via The Economic Times)

इसका मतलब
An election changes expectations about future US policy (taxes, spending, regulation), so on results night the dollar, US bond yields and stock futures all move together. When yields fall, the benefit of holding dollars shrinks a little, and on such days the dollar often looks softer, but this is not a fixed rule. Until the results are complete, major pairs can see sudden jolts and wider spreads. What DXY is and why gold traders watch it is in today's new lesson. This is not a buy/sell signal or a prediction.
