US job openings jump to 7.52M in September

क्या हुआ

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) JOLTS report released today, 3 Nov, shows job openings rose to 7.52 million in September, up 333,000 from August. The Dow Jones estimate was 7.15 million (CNBC).
• The job openings rate rose 0.2 percentage point to 4.5%
• Quits rose by 321,000 to 3.36 million, the highest since March 2025
• Hires rose by 131,000 to 5.4 million; layoffs fell by 127,000 to 1.64 million, the lowest since March 2025
• US factory orders rose 1.8% in September, against an estimate of 1.3%
The October nonfarm payrolls (NFP) report comes on Friday; according to CNBC, the Wall Street consensus is +59,000 jobs with the unemployment rate at 4.2%.

इसका मतलब

JOLTS shows how many jobs are open at US companies, how many people are quitting and how many are being laid off. More quits are usually seen as a sign that workers are confident about finding a new job.

Labor market data matters for the Fed's interest rate decisions, so the dollar, gold and indices can move sharply around such reports. Lesson: one report is not the full picture; read it together with Friday's NFP. This is for understanding only, not buy/sell advice.

सिर्फ़ समझ के लिए, prediction नहीं। यह buy/sell सलाह नहीं है, ख़बर पढ़कर सीधे trade न करें।
