Bank of England expected to hike to 4% today

The Bank of England decides on rates today at 12:00 GMT, which is 5:30 PM IST in India. Markets have almost fully priced in a 25 basis point hike, taking Bank Rate from 3.75% to 4%. UK inflation was 3.5% in September (3.1% in August). The last meeting held rates at 3.75% on a 6-3 vote, with three members wanting a hike.
