WGC: central banks bought 321t of gold in Q3 2026

क्या हुआ

Key figures from the World Gold Council (WGC) Gold Demand Trends Q3 2026 report (3 Nov):
• Total Q3 gold demand (including OTC) was 1,369 tonnes, 1% lower than a year earlier
• Central banks bought 321 tonnes; year-to-date 675 tonnes (+6% y/y)
• Gold ETFs added 211 tonnes, reversing the Q2 outflows
• Bar and coin demand fell 19% to 268 tonnes
• Jewellery demand fell 17% to 313 tonnes, the weakest third quarter in WGC's data
• The LBMA gold price averaged $4,262 per ounce in Q3, 23% higher y/y
• Mine production rose 3% to 1,071 tonnes, a third-quarter record

इसका मतलब

Gold's price is shaped not just by charts but by real buying and selling. This report shows that at high prices ordinary buyers (jewellery, bars and coins) are buying less, while central banks and ETFs remain big buyers. Quarterly reports like this help you understand gold's long-term picture, not its day-to-day moves. This is information only, not a buy/sell signal or prediction.

सिर्फ़ समझ के लिए, prediction नहीं। यह buy/sell सलाह नहीं है, ख़बर पढ़कर सीधे trade न करें।
