Key events for Monday 2 Nov 2026 (times in IST):
• 7:15 AM: China's RatingDog manufacturing PMI (already released: 52.0)
• 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM: Eurozone and UK final manufacturing PMI
• 8:30 PM: US ISM Manufacturing PMI (October). In September it was 54.5; calendar consensus is also 54.5
• 8:30 PM: US ISM Prices (previous reading 77.9) and US Construction Spending
• Tomorrow Tue 3 Nov 9:00 AM: RBA (Australia's central bank) rate decision, press conference at 10:00 AM. Current cash rate is 4.60%
• Tomorrow night: US midterm (Congressional) elections
According to ISM's own website, the October report will be released at 10:00 AM New York time. Since daylight saving ended in the US from 1 Nov, this will now be at 8:30 PM IST (previously 7:30 PM).

ISM Manufacturing PMI is a survey of US factory purchase managers: above 50 = factory activity is expanding, below 50 = contracting. Its "Prices" component indicates how expensive raw materials are for factories, an early signal of inflation. Consensus = average estimate from economists; the market often reacts to the difference between actual and consensus.
Sharp moves in dollar, gold and indices, along with wider spreads, are common in the minutes around such data releases.
